Finance Clerk
What does it take
We’re searching for a detail-oriented Finance Clerk to join our team! Your days will be filled with managing client files, ensuring contract accuracy, and keeping communication flowing with clear status updates and notifications. You’ll be a master of organisation, utilising LEAP and Microsoft Office to efficiently handle tasks and support the department. A finance or accounting degree is a plus, but strong communication, organisational skills, and a team player mentality are what truly matter.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- File & Document Management: Open client files, verify identification, and ensure contract accuracy.
- Client Communication: Send status updates, payment confirmations, and contract notifications; prepare initial letters.
- System Updates: Update LEAP with contract details, save documents using correct naming conventions.
- Task & Calendar Management: Track tasks and follow up on missing documents to complete paperwork.
- Team Support: Assist with overflow tasks to ensure smooth departmental operations.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with document management systems such as LEAP is desirable
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively in a team environment
